The location was central, great for a castle and a theatre located close to the hotel. The staff where all attentive and accommodating, great service. The bed was very comfy, and the room itself was comfortable.

Didn't like the staff, some of them were very rude.

The views from the front of the hotel were fabulous, overlooking the North Bay. The breakfast was very good. The hotel was very clean.

The Landlady was quite curt and very short with us when we arrived. We felt almost as if we were imposing.The rooms at the back of the hotel were very noisy from the road below, and we couldnt close the windows properly.

It was perfectly situated for what l wanted, it had wonderful views and as a small family run hotel it had a personal touch and l found it very friendly...

I really loved walking from this hotel to the beautiful Scarborough Castle, just a few minutes away, and the fine views from the nearby North Bay were a highlight of my stay. It made my mornings all the more enjoyable. The room was perfect for my needs with a comfortable bed and I appreciated the tasty breakfast options available each morning.
